CHALLENGE
The original Chino Latino website was built in Flash a decade ago, which presented challenges for mobile and desktop viewing. They later built a separate site for mobile users, creating extra work to maintain both desktop and mobile versions. Being in the hospitality industry, Chino desperately needed a new responsive design to complement their unique brand and simplify the navigation and content.
SOLUTION
With the information gathered from UX research and collaboration between the Digital Edison team, Parasole Restaurant Holdings and key Chino staff, we restructured site content and architecture to present users with a simplified experience. The new site was built on WordPress CMS and the fully responsive design eliminated the need for two separate sites, saving administrators time on content maintenance.
